The Stockholm Bloodbath
Description
The Stockholm Bloodbath, which took place in November 1520, was a brutal mass execution in Sweden where blood literally covered the streets of Stockholm. It occurred after the coronation of King Christian II of Denmark, who sought to solidify his control over Sweden. Over several days, around 80 to 100 Swedish nobles and clergy were executed, including prominent figures who opposed Christian's rule. This is a topspin inspired by this event!
