Viper

This is Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It opened April 7th, 1990 and was a smash hit among guests. The ride constantly stopped itself on the mid course break run and the park soon discovered that there were weak links in the chain lift and had to be replaced. In 1994, the Northridge earthquake struck and damaged the ride. It was repaired, but eventually it started to get more and more unpopular. The ride has become really rough over the years and is not popular with guests anymore.
