This is Shockwave at Six Flags Magic Mountain. This opened in 1986 as the world's first stand up roller coaster. After two years, it was relocated to Six Flags Great Adventure. Spent a few more years there and then got dismantled to be relocated to Six Flags Astro World. It would be known as Batman the escape for the longest run. *****hen in 2005, the ride closed along with Astro World. It went to Six Flags Darien Lake and Sat in Storage but it was never constructed. Eventually, in 2017, the track was scrapped. …

This is Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It opened April 7th, 1990 and was a smash hit among guests. The ride constantly stopped itself on the mid course break run and the park soon discovered that there were weak links in the chain lift and had to be replaced. In 1994, the Northridge earthquake struck and damaged the ride. It was repaired, but eventually it started to get more and more unpopular. The ride has become really rough over the years and is not popular with guests anymore. …
