very first attempt at the cork***** at Alton Towers (UK) now dismantled but it was the first coaster at this park, dating from the 1980s. still needs work on end. had to reduce friction just to get the thing round. according to specs the lift is the right hight and the speed after first drop is correct. but the overall track is about 200m too long and so the ride isn't excitihng enough. that is what is left to work on. …
