Originally opening in 1976, Americana Adventure was one of the most popular tourist attractions in Washington, D.C. But over time, the park's budget dwindled, and so did attendance. After decades of decline and competition wi*****her parks, the park closed in 2017, ironically right after it's 40th anniversary. The park was abandoned and stayed that way until late 2023, when the impossible happened: a purchase offer was received. After some negotiations, Coaster Planet Entertainment bought the desolate park, and began the revival. A few months later, the park returned from the grave after 7 silent years. Welcome back to America's Family Theme Park.™️ Features a Western area (Country Lake), a kiddie zone (Kiddie World), a midway, and a sci-fi section (Area 47). Total flat rides: 10.
