Three lakes

1830: because of peace treaties by Great Britain, The Netherlands and Spain piracy was now punishable with the death penalty. The old pirates were hunted all over the planet. Most of them died in battle, but a small group sought refuge on an island called three lakes. The island was long hidden from the modern world, but after a few decades food was scarce. At the risk of being discovered the pirates had to sail out once again. They soon found out that the world had changed and their technology was absolete. The island was discovered by the new world and the pirates were driven from their homes. The new inhabitants tried everything to *****ct with the rest of the world, they built a trainstation and improved the harbour. In the end the island was just to remote. Nowadays the island is transformed into a themepark for the many cruiseships p****ng by. The park is dedicated to the pirates who played a big role in financing europe in the war against Spain.
