Hex the legend of the towers is an immersive vekoma Madhouse concept ride at the Alton Towers Resort. Beautifully crafted by designers John wardley, john west along with Drew Wilson. The ride is based on the ****l Legend. Heres a short synopsis. In 1821 on a cold autumn night the 15th Earl, charles Talbot was on his way back to the towers when an old lady approached the moving carrige and brought it to a sudden halt. The earl asked the driver why the carrige had stopped. With palm outstretched the old beggar pleaded for the charity of a coin. The earl dismissed her and ordered the driver to continue back home. The lady, Angered by the Earl, screamed a curse.._ for every branch of the old oak tree that fell, a member of the Earls family would die.. Later that night a storm occured and with a bolt of lightning a branch was struck and fell. True to the wo**** curse a member of his family died.
