American Eagle

A twin wooden coaster at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. Manufactured by Intamin in 1981. While most of the records have since been broken, American Eagle had the longest drop and fastest speeds among wooden coasters when it debuted and is still recognized as a top racing coaster. The actual coaster has a height of 127' and a drop of 147'. This creation does not drop below surface. The difference was added to the lift hill. "Have the time after time of your life!"
